Despite direct requests and the involvement of Tweed Commission the Riparian Owner and Lease Holder of the stretch of the Whiteadder below Chirnside Bridge have removed trout fishing rights from Whiteadder Angling Association. This stretch has now been removed from Whiteadder Angling Association waters from season 2022 and will no longer police this stretch.
